GENIUS STEM Talent was established in 2017 and is one of the initiatives under the GENIUS Division that ensures that the gifted and talented students identified under the GENIUS@Pintar Education Program in STEM disciplines in higher education continue to excel and, thus, to contribute to the country. The recognition of their abilities, motivation, and potential must be developed and supported to help them achieve their full potential.

GENIUS STEM Talent provides continuous support to GENIUS@Pintar and GENIUS Insan alumni through various activities or programs, including mentoring and workshops, as well as funding for conferences, industrial training, research attachments, student exchange programs, and professional certification courses. We are collaborating with scientists and technology experts in various industries to give these gifted and talented individuals more experience and opportunities to develop their skills and potential so that the industries can tap their potential.

All the activities and programs emphasize three important components, namely, the ability to manage complex challenges, engagement in adapting personal and national goals, and aspiration to critical responsibilities. The various activities and programs serve as platforms for the further development of the students’ skills and potential, enabling them to become leaders in STEM fields.
